Jenna Schilit, Director

Jenna grew up outside of Boston in a family where performing arts was at the center. Trained in ballet, tap, and jazz, Jenna displayed her love of dance when performing on stage in countless musical theater productions, as well as when choreographing numbers for both musicals and dance shows in high school and college. Of course, Jenna's love of dance is best displayed when she is on a dance floor! Jenna received her B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania and an M.A. in Childhood Education from Teachers College, Columbia University. As a second grade teacher, Jenna loved learning about the latest methodology in engaging young minds and creating child-centered, cutting-edge curriculum. Jenna is so excited to meld her skills and background in education with her love of dance at Bethesda Dance Center. Jenna is also, importantly, a wife and the mother of three incredible children.
