Leveled Dynamics Program
6th Grade and Up, Full Year Program, 2026-2027 Dance Season
Classes Begin September 14, 2026
The Leveled Dynamics Program for dancers in 6th grade and up is the next step in BDC’s Core Program path. Moving to leveled classes at this developmental stage keeps individual growth and high-quality dance education at the heart of everything we do. Dynamics Program dancers will learn ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, and contemporary. Dancers should expect to remain in each level for 2-3 years.

Dynamics Program Electives include:
Dynamic Leaps, Extensions, and Turns (LET) — an optional, extra technique class for dancers in the Dynamics Program.
Dynamic Hip Hop — an optional class for dancers in the Dynamics Program whose dance training allows for a fast-paced, higher level Hip Hop class.
Dynamics Program
When dancers are in class with others at a similar technical level they:
learn at the right pace
build skills sequentially
avoid needing to relearn or review mastered skills
experience more productive choreography sessions
Dynamics Program dancers will meet twice weekly with the same core group, providing dancers the repetition to maximize their ability to progress and become skilled, well-rounded dancers in ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, and lyrical. These dancers will perform at least 3 dances in the Recital.
Prerequisites to join the Dynamics Program: Currently enrolled BDC Progressions 2 dancers are eligible to join the Dynamics Program. If you are a new student to BDC, you must have a dance evaluation to join the Dynamics Program. Prior dance training is required. Please contact the studio.
A Note about Ballet: Ballet is an essential component to developing as a dancer. All technical work such as leaps, turns, kicks, extensions, and body control stem from ballet training. The necessary understanding of body alignment and isolations come from ballet training as well. Ballet allows dancers to quickly pick up the styles of jazz, lyrical, and contemporary.
Tuition: Pricing Varies by Program
Two Tuition Payments: 1st upon Registration and 2nd on December 3rd.
Costume Fee: $125 per Costume (3 Costumes)

Leaps, Extensions, & Turns
For Dynamics Program Dancers
The Leaps, Extensions, and Turns class is supplemental training for the Dynamics Program dancer. It focuses on building the core technical elements of dance that make movement look powerful, fluid, and controlled. Dancers work on leaps and jumps to develop height, strength, and proper takeoff/landing technique; extensions to improve flexibility, balance, and clean lines (like high kicks or leg holds); and turns to strengthen spotting, coordination, and stability. This class does not perform in the Recital.
Tuition: Two separate payments of $540*
No Costume Fee
*(Due upon Registration and on December 3rd)
Dynamic Hip Hop
For Dynamics Program Dancers
Dynamic Hip Hop is a 45 minute, optional elective class where dancers will learn traditional as well as commercial Hip Hop dance. This class will perform one dance in the Recital.
Tuition: Two separate payments of $480*
Costume Fee: $125
